How to Use the Keepkey Wallet

Recently, the developers have proposed a new version of the Keepkey client called ShapeShift, which will be discussed in the next section. Moreover, when clicking on the link indicated on the package lid, the user is automatically redirected to the new ShapeShift interface. Gradually the previous client will be replaced with a new one.

The Keepkey client application is an extension for the Google Chrome browser. It is available on PCs with operating systems Mac, Linux, Android, and Windows. 

Registration Procedure

Set the login details first. The wallet name can consist of Latin letters, numbers, and some special characters. It allows you to identify a device if the user applies several devices at the same time. It can be changed later if necessary.

After that, an unused public address will be generated, which is displayed both on the PC and on the display of your device. The receiving address can be used only after verification. The button for copying the address is to the right of it.
